Blog #7 Emotional Journey

I’m going to talk about Anger as my emotional journey. I think about things I don’t like. I get very upset.I think about a certain cartoon character making a cat noise. Cat noises make me very upset. When I get upset I get very touchy. I have to touch things a certain amount of times. I also vocalize and make weird noises. Sometimes I can control these thoughts, sometimes I cannot. When I cannot control these thoughts, I also start to cry and sometimes I bite myself. When I do these angry actions, it makes me feel better.

Blog #6 Dear John Letter

Dear John,
I’ve got bad news. I’m moving to Wisconsin, isn’t that sad? We won’t be able to talk to each other anymore. I just don’t have the money for long distance phone calls and I really don’t want a long distance relationship. They never work out. I have other things I need to worry about. I’m getting a new puppy since my old dog, Rover died. I’m also going to live in a nice new house with all my family. There will be a bigger T.V. screen, a soft new couch, we will even get new bedrooms with fun, cozy beds. I will also have to find a new job. These are the things I need to concentrate on. I can’t have you bugging me and holding me back. Thats why I’m breaking up with you.

Stephen Gammell

1. Others should care about this author’s work because, He draws lots of detail that looks creepy. He’s very insightful, leery and he knows how to grab your attention and keep you involved in his writings.

2. Stephen’s writings are about scary stories, historic country stories. His themes tend to gravitate towards horror and gothic.

3. His best stories are Scary Stories to tell in the Dark, Song and Dance Man, When the Relatives Came, He just has best sellers on those. These are his most popular stories.

4. His strengths are being famous for his books. His weaknesses are drawing babyish things in his stories. Not a very good artist.

5. I have known this author since I was 5 and I can’t recall another author that reminds me of Stephen and his scary short stories.

Passing Days

1. Just a Song Before I Go (Crosby Stills and Nash)- Tells about someone from the past, that relates to the title of my film.

2. Look at Yourself (Uriah Heep)-Looking at yourself in the 70’s that is what my movie is based on.

3. I Wouldn’t Want to be Like You (The Alan Parson’s Project)-When looking at myself in the mirror I don’t want to be like some of the other people in my movie and how they turned out.

4. Dust in the Wind (Kansas)-About wind in the distance and dust disappearing, like in my movie people come and go in and out of people’s lives.

5. Regan’s Theme (Ennio Morricone from Exorcist 2)-Just a beautiful melody to play during a romantic moment.

6. Layla (Eric Clapton)-The times my friends and I had in the 70’s.

7. Crocodile Rock (Elton John)-Going to parties in the 70’s and listening to this Theme Song.
8. Fair Game (Crosby Stills & Nash)-About how people look and not to judge them.
9. She’s the Woman for Me (Billy Joel)-About how the women are in the 70’s and how she is the one for the leading role in the movie.

10. Song for America (Kansas)-A happy song about going to other place, seeing the whole world and making the best of things.

Invent an Alien

The alien’s name is Azuzu

She has bright round black eyes and long blueish purple hair. She’s tall and thin and has red lips with sharp teeth. She likes to wear black and blue and purple. Those are her favorite colors. Her skin is very light.

She ha a very unusual behavior. She likes to eat peanut butter on top of chocolate candy bars and cheese on top of pretzels, peanuts, and popcorn. When she dosn’t get her way, she screams in a high pitched voice and talks gibberishly. She can understand english though.

She has a special power that allows her to see people in many different ways. Her eyes have X-Ray vision.

She arrives at my doorstep and looks at me with those strange eyes. I get so frightend that I gasp in horror. She gets a little afraid I might do something to her but then I realized she was kind of cute. I said “I won’t hurt you, I just got a little scared.” But when I show her to a friend, he gets so scared he acts hysterical and runs around screaming. Then, Azuzu the alien gets upset that she sees him as a big baby and runs away from him. She looks atother kids at my school and most kids get frightend that they run around screaming too. She gets so upset she screams at the kids and stares at them till the kids get more scared. She calls the kids names like “Fat Pig”, “String Bean”, “Ugly Toad”, and others that the kids didn’t like cuz Azuzu had the power to see others in many different ways.

Sometimes she imagines me as someone different. Like she does to others. She scares others cuz she sees them as different people or other aliens, or even monsters.
